We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fire Door Installer & Joiner to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring buildings meet essential fire safety standards through high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Using your expertise and knowledge of current regulations, you'll be responsible for delivering compliant, reliable, and professional fire protection solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installing new fire door sets and upgrading existing doors to meet current safety standards
- Carrying out maintenance and repair works on fire doors
- Fabricating electrical fire-rated enclosures
- Installing fire-rated plasterboard systems
- Completing a range of associated joinery tasks to a high standard
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations
What You'll Bring:
- NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Carpentry or Joinery
- Proven experience in fire door installation and joinery
- A valid CSCS or ECS card
- At least 2 years industry experience
- Strong understanding of current British Standards and fire regulations
- A full, clean UK driving licence
