We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee projects within our Passive Fire Protection division. You will be responsible for ensuring that all on-site works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and your site teams. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage daily site operations, ensuring fire protection installations (including fire stopping, cavity barriers, and fire doors) are completed on time, on budget, and to specification.
- Champion safety standards by conducting risk assessments, enforcing method statements, and ensuring all work complies with BS 476, BS EN 1366, and FIRAS/third-party accreditation requirements.
- Supervise and support site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Act as the key site contact for housing associations and clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor quality and compliance, carrying out inspections, sign-offs, and maintaining accurate QA and project documentation (including site diaries, reports, and photographs).
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and waste management to maintain smooth site operations.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption and timely completion of projects.
- Promote RAAM's company values, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within your teams.
- Motivate and inspire your workforce, creating a positive, results-driven working environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Valid SMST or SSST certification.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred).
- Competent in using IT systems, tablets, and digital communication tools.
- Knowledge of building construction, materials, and passive fire protection systems.
- Ability to identify and assess fire stopping, fire doors, and compartment walls/floors.
