Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in delivering QA solutions for Finance & Accounting systems.
- Work with stakeholders to establish test strategy, approach, and UAT process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare comprehensive finance test strategies.
- Set up test data requirements strategy.
- Develop and implement an automation test strategy.
- Ensure all requirements are testable.
- Run finance reconciliations and other period end processes.
- Validate API calls and file load processes.
- Manage test defect resolution and reporting.
- Lead a QA team based in London and Mumbai.
- Support resolution of QA team escalations and issues.
- Mentor and guide the team on QA processes and best practices.
In short, you will be responsible for providing QA leadership and expertise for Finance & Accounting systems. You will work with stakeholders to develop and implement test strategies, and you will lead a team of QA engineers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of Finance & Accounting systems through testing and reporting.
Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in finance and accounting testing.
- 5+ years of experience working with clients in the insurance industry.
- Expertise in a variety of testing methods, including manual, automated, and performance testing.
- Strong understanding of the trial balance, profit and loss account, invoicing, credit notes, and general ledger management processes.
- Ability to write SQL queries for testing data population.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops pipelines and testing processes.
- Proficient in Agile / Scrum project methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
