ABC Programme Consultants are a boutique Professional Services Consultancy, working with our Financial Services client on a range of business focused projects. We would like to engage with a Data Privacy & Protection SME to support the Design Phase of a Data Privacy and Protection Project, which will improve our client's compliance posture.
The purpose of this role is to act as the Subject Matter Expert and work with the project team to review, improve and create all artefacts required by the Data Protection Office, including Standards, Policies, Procedures and Templates, ensuring they adequately reflect all relevant regulatory and legal considerations, making reference to ISO 20001, ISO 20002 and NIST.
Subsequent phases will concern the operational and technical responses to the challenges of embedding the revised compliance framework. Initial focus will be UK, Ireland and Belgium, then rolling out iteratively to the wider Global Organisation.
The overall programme touches GDPR, Data Protection, Data Loss Prevention, 3rd Party Assurance and Supplier Onboarding and Management.
Experience Required:
- Deep and detailed knowledge of the legislative frameworks in the Financial Services Sector, particularly GDPR
- Exceptional Customer liaison and communication skills
- 10 years minimum Financial Services Background, including the Insurance Sector
- Consultative approach
Start Date: w/c 24th October 2022.
Contract length: 6 months +. We anticipate consultants would consider themselves outside of IR35.
