ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher with plenty of experience in an upper key stage 2 setting to work full time in a year 6 class to start from September 2025.

The role

  • Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
  • Full time hours with an option to be paid to a M4-M6 scale from the start of the contract.
  • This will be long term cover spanning the entirety of the autumn term with a potential to extend to Easter.

This school is a three-form entry based in the Wolverhampton area. Currently working closely with ABC Teachers offering a warm environment for supply staff coming into the school.

Requirements

  • To be considered for the Year 6 Teacher position, you will:
  • Be able to communicate and work effectively with staff and pupils in the school’s Key Stage 2 setting.
  • Have experience teaching the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge for the year group.
  • Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
  • Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
  • Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
