About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the classroom, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher. You’ll be responsible for: Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. Supporting students to stay on task and engaged in their work. Minimum qualifications: Degree Level Requirements To be considered for the role of Secondary Cover Supervisor you will: Have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or similar role. Be confident managing classrooms and engaging with students aged 11–16. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments. Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship) Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or similar role.
