ABC are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants with EYFS and KS1 experience as well as some SEN experience to work in a primary school in Coventry. In this role you will be working with EYFS and KS1 as a general Teaching Assistant for part of the timetable as well as conducting some 1:1 support for a student in lower KS2 with ASD. For this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about working with students who has relevant experience in key areas. A good understanding of phonics would be desirable but not essential.

  • Full time and part time hours working from 08:30-15:30 Monday to Friday
  • Supporting pupils on the emotional and mental as well as educational side of school.
  • To start ASAP 2025 and run for the remainder of the academic year

Requirements

  • To be considered for the role of KS2 Teaching Assistant- Coventry you will:
  • Have a positive attitude to working with pupils and staff members in a school environment.
  • Must have had referenceable experience in a childcare setting.
  • Any applicants for this role will ideally have a childcare qualification, however any applicants with relevant experience to this role will also be able to apply.
  • Be willing to commit to school time hours.
  • Be able to gain references from relevant roles from the last 2 years.
  • Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the Update Service.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Salary based on daily rate.
