ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in the Amington area with prior experience supporting pupils of a primary age with Special Educational Needs to start from the beginning of February 2026.
About the role
- Working both one to one and in small groups with students with Special Educational Needs, outside of the classroom.
- Following EHCPs and school guidelines.
- Starting from February 2026 as a part-time member of staff with the potential to become a permanent member of the school.
- Working between school hours of 08:15-15:30, Monday to Wednesday up until the end of summer term, July 2026.

Requirements
- Have had prior experience working effectively with a student with additional needs.
- Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and to provide them the best chance of developing.
- Be able to commit to 3 days a week.
- Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification; however, with the right experience, this is not compulsory.
- Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
