Are you a Sports Coach looking to take your next step into the classroom? ABC Teachers are seeking enthusiastic, confident, and adaptable Sports Coaches to work as Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain on task.
• Use your sports background to promote teamwork, motivation, and positive behaviour.
• Support schools in maintaining a productive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:

• Have experience working with children or young people ideally in a sports coaching, PE, or education setting.
• Are confident leading groups and managing classroom behaviour.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
• Are based in or can commute to Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, or nearby areas.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Have experience working with children or young people ideally in a sports coaching, PE, or education setting.
