Are you a passionate Sports Coach looking to take your skills into the classroom? ABC Teachers is recruiting enthusiastic Sports Coaches to work as Cover Supervisors on a supply basis in Walsall and the surrounding areas from September 2025.
About the role
Working as a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work and ensuring a positive learning environment.
You will use your coaching experience to engage and motivate students, managing behaviour and encouraging participation.
Opportunities for both part-time and full-time work are available, giving you flexibility to suit your schedule.
Daily rates of pay from £90 to £100, paid weekly.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students (either in a school, tutoring, or youth work setting)
- A patient, resilient, and caring attitude
- A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a minimum of 5 days experience working directly with children in the last 10 years.
