ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis conducting 1:1 support to a student in Reception. The school requires an experienced Teaching Assistant who works well with children with Autism and additional needs to start mid September. The school is based in Dudley.

About the role:

  • Working on a 1:1 basis
  • Supporting a 4 Year old student in Reception with ASD.
  • Use a child-centred approach to provide the best support for student s learning and development.
  • This Teaching Assistant role is part-time long-term
  • Working hours 12 30 Monday - Friday

About you:

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
