Learning Support Assistant

ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Dudley full-time.

About the role

• As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of students.
• You will work alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff, providing tailored assistance to students with severe and profound learning difficulties.
• The role involves working with students aged four to nineteen, either one‑on‑one or in small groups, to help them achieve their potential.
• This is a full‑time position, with the potential to become ongoing for the right candidate.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will :

• Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
• Two years experience supporting students with special educational needs.
