We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive primary school in Netherton. This is a full-time position with full class teacher responsibilities, likely to continue for the entire academic year.
About the Role:
As our new KS1 teacher, you will:
- Take full responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessment of a KS1 class
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote positive learning experiences. It also means you can share planning resources with parallel Teachers!
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending staff meetings and school events such as parents evening.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (essential)
- Experienced or confident in delivering the KS1 curriculum. The role will be either Year 1 or Year 2 dependent on your preferences.
- Passionate about inspiring young learners and helping them reach their full potential
- Committed to working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
- Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Must have strong behaviour management skills/strategies
Pay
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS status and experience we are able to obtain references for in a Primary School Setting.
