Are you an experienced and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a rewarding role where you can have a significant impact on students' learning and development? We invite you to become a valued member of our enthusiastic team at ABC, where your expertise will shape the educational journey of our students. You will be working within different schools in the Dudley/Sandwell areas supporting Class Teachers and taking the lead where required. With this role, we would be looking at working around you and your availability to best suit your needs! You let us know which days you're free for work and we will aim to find you work on those days.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, under the guidance of teachers.
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students, offering tailored assistance to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement differentiated learning strategies.
  • Act as a role model for students, fostering positive behaviour and a passion for learning.
  • Contribute to classroom management and assist in maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to ensure their full inclusion in lessons.

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized HLTA qualification or relevant equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for supporting students' growth.

Pay: Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a HLTA or equivalent qualification and experience we are able to obtain references for in a Primary School Setting.
