Job Description:
ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work on a day-to-day and part-time basis across primary schools in and around the Bloxwich area starting from September 2025.
About the role
- Supporting as classroom cover as well as covering teachers PPA time while in the school.
- Covering members of staff and year groups where needed.
- Support the class as a whole as well as supporting with potential interventio groups and students on a 1:1 basis.
- Great opportunity for ECTs to work on practice as well as build a good rapport with a school in their local area.
- This cover will be flexible around your availability

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Bloxwich you will:
- Have prior working in a primary school environment and be willing to work across all primary year groups.
- Have confidence in supporting and leading a classroom.
- Be able to work well alongside permanent staff members.
- Will need an NVQ Level 4 qualification, or an educational degree.
- Be able to gain references from most recent relevant role.
- Able to obtain a valid DBS registered to the update service.
