ABC Teachers are currently recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Telford and the surrounding Shropshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, education, or child development.About the role As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will gain hands-on classroom experience, delivering pre-set lessons and supporting pupils in the absence of the class teacher.Your responsibilities will include:Supervising whole classes during short-term teacher absencesDelivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjectsManaging classroom behaviour in line with school policiesSupporting students to stay on task and engaged with learningGaining valuable experience in secondary school environmentsThis role is ideal for education graduates, sports science graduates, or those with transferable experience working with young people.About the school You will be working in a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Telford, including:Mainstream secondary schoolsAcademies and multi-academy trustsSchools with strong behaviour and pastoral support systemsABC Teachers partner with schools that are committed to supporting graduates, offering clear behaviour policies, helpful senior leadership teams, and opportunities to gain meaningful classroom experience.
