General cover teacher

ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a General Secondary Cover Teacher in Stoke-on-Trent to work in a range of secondary schools across Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified secondary teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons across multiple subjects while maintaining strong classroom management.

As a Secondary Cover Teacher in Stoke-on-Trent, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 in a variety of subjects.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning abilities and needs.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback to the school on student progress and engagement.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of General cover teacher you will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to confidently teach across multiple secondary subjects.
• A passion for supporting student learning and development.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
