About the role

ABC Teachers are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Telford & Shropshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience managing classrooms at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who are passionate about education and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained
• Support students’ engagement and understanding
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:

• Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils
• A flexible and professional attitude
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
