Transport Manager, Coach. Based in Charvil, Berkshire, overseeing a medium coach operation. Previous experience is essential.

Duties will include:

  • Working with our planning and allocation team
  • Management of driving staff including recruitment and retention
  • Ensuring compliance within our industry regulatory requirements
  • Working with key stakeholders both inside and outside the business
  • Working with our customer base, ensuring we meet their day to day requirements
  • Working with our engineering teams at two workshops
  • Working with our Partners and Directors

A valid category D driving licence is an advantage. A CPC certificate (Passenger Transport) is desired. All employees are required to undertake a DBS check to enhanced level. You will have a company mobile with you at all times, in case of emergencies.

This is not a standard 08.00 – 16.00 job. We operate a mixed fleet of around 120 vehicles, ranging from 4 seater taxis, through to MIDI Coaches including a fleet of modern coaches in Berkshire areas. We operate contracts for various local authorities, private hire, bus services, rail replacement along with UK Tours. We are a family business, trading over 20 years.

This is a new position, which will strengthen our management team. You will be reporting to the Directors and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the industry but more importantly be keen to learn, adapt along with an enthusiastic and can do attitude.
