Seeking a dynamic customer advisor to join our Personal Lines team in AB&C Insurance.

Role Description

The Customer Advisor (Personal Lines) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lurgan. In this position, you will handle personal lines insurance enquiries, provide quotations, process new policies, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant. You will engage with customers in person, over the phone, and via email, clarifying cover options and guiding them to suitable solutions. The role involves maintaining high service standards, managing a personal workload, and following up on leads to support retention and growth. You will also collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex queries and contribute to a positive, customer-focused branch environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer support skills, with a focus on responsive, professional service.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer trust and satisfaction through effective problem-solving, clear explanations of cover, and consistent follow-up.
  • Ability to explain insurance products in straightforward, accessible terms.
  • Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar customer-focused environment is highly desirable.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when handling policy information, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft office applications and familiarity with insurance software platform OpenGi is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently in a busy branch setting.
  • Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or a willingness to work towards them would be an advantage.
