We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Print Operator / Large Format Production Specialist to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in large-format print production. Experience with dye-sublimation printing would be advantageous, although it is not essential, as full training will be provided. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment where quality, efficiency, teamwork, and technical expertise are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a range of large-format printing equipment, including Mimaki, Colorado, Arizona, and Epson printers (training provided where required).
- Produce high-quality print output across a variety of materials and substrates.
- Manage daily production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Carry out quality control checks throughout all stages of production to ensure client expectations are consistently met.
- Work closely with the production team and communicate any issues promptly to management to minimise downtime.
- Maintain an efficient workflow while ensuring production accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct final inspections and quality assurance checks on completed projects before dispatch.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and preventative care of production equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Monitor stock levels of production materials and report inventory requirements as needed.
