Chancery Court Tax Chambers (CCTC) is a boutique tax chambers located in Gray's Inn Square, London. They provide UK and international tax and wealth structuring advice to high and ultra-high net worth individuals, business owners, banks, trustees, trust companies, funds, and entrepreneurs. With over 20 years of experience, CCTC specialises in advising clients in situations where confidentiality and privacy are paramount. Their expertise extends from traditional sources of wealth, such as residential and commercial property and family trading businesses, to cutting-edge technologies like Blockchain and derivative crypto-funds.
Our client, Chancery Court Tax Chambers, are seeking a driven and ambitious clerk with at least 1 year of industry experience who wants to develop and advance their clerking career in a cutting-edge tax chambers. This is a full-time on-site role as part of our busy and dynamic clerking team. The Clerk will be responsible for liaising directly with instructing law firms, professional advisers and lay clients, overseeing the allocation and progress of new work, fee negotiation, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and assisting with general office duties. You will work directly with another Clerk, Senior Clerk, as well as the wider administrative team, to ensure efficient client service and support.
Person Specification Skills & Qualifications
- 1-year minimum clerking experience in a barristers' chambers.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Pay Level
Highly competitive and above industry standard dependent on experience; plus discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive health insurance.
