An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday HR and Finance systems for a leading wholesale, specialty & (re)insurance broker in the London Market.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong track record of Workday deployment, stakeholder engagement, and change management within the Insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Workday HR and Finance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between C-suite executives, key business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and decision-making.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work with the business to identify process change requirments and opportunities to reduce product customisation capitalising on existing system functionalities.
  • Drive business change and ensure successful adoption of the new Workday system across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, Workday consultants, and internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide robust governance and assurance, ensuring the project remains on track and within scope.
  • Oversee data migration, user training, testing, and post-implementation support.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Workday HR and Finance system implementations in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Strong London Insurance Market background.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage C-level executives.
  • Deep understanding of HR, Finance, and Payroll processes within a Workday framework.
  • Strong grasp of project governance, risk management, and change control.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and Workday implementation partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive high-impact projects to successful completion.
  • Workday certification (desirable but not essential).
