Responsibilities
- Lead on all employee relations issues, e.g. investigations, grievances, conflict resolution, disciplinaries.
- Work closely with the BHR Team to strategise and agree a strong approach to all employee relations matters.
- Develop, implement, and improve Employee Relations strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Advise managers and employees on UK labour law, HR policies, workplace disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Legal, Compliance, IT, Data Privacy) and external consultants to resolve employee‑related matters.
- Handle communications with external legal counsel where necessary, and support litigation.
- Lead investigations, document findings, and make recommendations for resolution; ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Mediates conversations between employees/managers to drive conflict resolution.
- Devise and deliver training to the HR team and leaders on ER topics, according to the needs at the time.
- Monitor ER metrics, analyse trends, report findings, and propose action plans to HR Director.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and national employment laws.
