The main purpose of the role is to be a part of a highly-skilled team delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges in an automated manufacturing process. You will provide support and assistance with Engineering project management and documentation in compliance with site, corporate and external regulatory requirements. This includes developing machine user requirements specifications and executing equipment qualification testing protocols to ensure that the machine functions as required. Work may involve devising, planning, and running trials on manufacturing equipment, collecting and analysing data, and writing reports. You will gain exposure and insight into our validation procedures for qualifying production equipment used for manufacturing components for medical devices.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Work within the Operations Engineering team providing support to Senior Engineers on projects and tasks within agreed constraints of time, cost, and quality.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of validations on our production equipment, proposing solutions to issues as they arise, and implementing and documenting under supervision.
  • Ensure that changes are introduced according to the required standards and change control processes.
  • Complete all documentation in compliance with site, corporate, and external regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, well-organised, and detail-oriented individual currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s degree in an Engineering or STEM discipline. You should have a passion for delivering high-value engineering projects in a fast-paced and automated manufacturing environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work on a variety of different projects simultaneously are essential. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and enjoy problem-solving through collaboration.
