Responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient packaging operation of Toxicology PRT warehouse standards and inventory. Main objective: lower operating costs by effectively utilizing the ERP during item picking, increase productivity by following working instructions, zero picking errors, and communicate.
Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items by Lot # and expiration date as directed by the picking sheets.
- Use a company‑issued stamp after picking.
- Read and understand all notes on picking sheets.
- Assist team members with picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products.
- Operate a manual rolling cart to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness by sweeping floors, wiping spills, and organizing products.
- Follow and abide by all company safety rules.
- Record all damage per company policy and handle damage/dents as they occur.
- Ensure proper handling of picking sheets and place them on the correct cartons.
- Keep the floor space clean while picking.
- Conduct daily housekeeping assignments as directed by warehouse management.
- Help prepare for end‑of‑year physical inventory.
- Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and make recommendations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic math skills and the ability to read labels/pick sheets.
- Ability to follow work instructions and communicate discrepancies.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified (company‑provided).
- Proficiency in operating a rolling pushcart, electric forklift, and manual pallet jack.
