We are seeking passionate and driven commercial professionals to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of our Heart Failure portfolio focused on CardioMEMS making it the standard of care. As a result of significant expansion there are multiple brand-new Territory Managers opportunities in our Heart Failure division that will be covering the South UK.
Ideal candidate locations: Greater London / Cambridge / Peterborough / Bristol / Bath
What You’ll Do:
- In these field‑based roles covering the assigned geographies with the South UK region, you will support Abbott’s Heart Failure portfolio, focused on CardioMEMS.
- You will utilise your strong commercial acumen to deliver market growth, technical, clinical and educational support to ensure safe adoption of CardioMEMS.
- Driving strong customer engagement across the territory.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Driving therapy and market development by supporting strategic centres and educating referring physicians on CardioMEMS.
- Utilising a strong network of non-clinical stakeholders within hospitals and ICB’s to support patient access to CardioMEMS.
- Developing and delivering Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.
- Managing key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams.
- Providing procedure support in Cath Labs.
- Communicating Abbott’s Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.
- Collaborating with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.
- Supporting cross‑divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.
- Delivering implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintaining strong referral networks.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
- A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
- Ability to work with others effectively.
- Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
- Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
- Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information.
- Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- This position requires a considerable amount of business travel.
- Professional training/education certification or designation.
- Field sales experience required.
- Experience in a Cath Lab / Operating theatre in a sales environment preferred.
