Job Description:
The purpose of our Structural Heart business is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
As our business grows, we are looking to expand our sales team with an additional (Senior) Territory Manager for our Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) portfolio across the North West of England.
What you’ll do:
- This role involves a mix of clinical and commercial activities, including clinical sign-off and procedural support.
- Achieve sales targets within your geographical area to meet revenue goals.
- Become knowledgeable in all aspects of TAVI and communicate the benefits of Abbott TAVI technology effectively.
- Provide field support for Abbott\’s TAVI Program.
- Lead or assist in training NHS TAVI Team staff.
- Assist in planning and training for new product launches.
- Maintain expert status and clinical proficiency, focusing on product design, development, clinical application, and competitive positioning.
- Achieve sales targets, manage relationships with KOLs, monitor competitors, and adjust pricing strategies.
- Operate effectively with both clinical and commercial customers.
- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and UKI leadership on strategies for growth.
What you’ll need:
- A degree in a relevant discipline.
- Prior TAVI experience, preferably with clinical and procedural sales.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cath lab/operating room procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Significant prior sales success and proven results.
- Strategic understanding and big-picture thinking.
- Initiative and independence in work.
- Team player with strong customer commitment.
