The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

In these field-based roles covering the assigned geographies with the South UK region, you will support Abbott's Heart Failure portfolio, focused on Cardio MEMS.

You will utilise your strong commercial acumen to deliver market growth, technical, clinical and educational support to ensure safe adoption of Cardio MEMS.

This position requires a considerable amount of business travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support Abbott's Heart Failure portfolio, focused on Cardio MEMS.
  • Utilise strong commercial acumen to deliver market growth, technical, clinical and educational support to ensure safe adoption of Cardio MEMS.
  • Drive strong customer engagement across the territory.
  • Drive therapy and market development by supporting strategic centres and educating referring physicians about Cardio MEMS.
  • Utilise a strong network of non‑clinical stakeholders within hospitals and ICBs to support patient access to Cardio MEMS.
  • Develop and deliver Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.
  • Manage key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams.
  • Provide procedure support in Cath Labs.
  • Communicate Abbott's Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.
  • Collaborate with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.
  • Support cross‑divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Deliver implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintain strong referral networks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive ability to analyse and evaluate technologically complex devices.
  • Ability to work with others effectively.
  • Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
  • Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
  • Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information.
  • Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Professional training, education certification or designation.
  • Field sales experience required.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab / Operating theatre in a sales environment preferred.
