About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager /Enterprise Account Manager to join Abbott's Core Diagnostics team. This role is pivotal in driving customer loyalty and business growth through strategic planning, value co-creation, and long-term partnerships for UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives and Abbott's portfolio.
  • Build deep understanding of enterprise account needs, stakeholders, and competitive landscape.
  • Consult with customers to deliver insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence.
  • Drive market share growth through new business opportunities, contract renewals, and protecting existing business.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and negotiate profitable contracts.
  • Establish Abbott as a premier performance partner from laboratory leadership to C-suite executives.

Qualifications

  • University degree, ideally in medical technology.
  • Experience in the diagnostics industry with a proven track record in managing strategic/enterprise accounts.
  • Strong solution-selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills at senior stakeholder level.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare and diagnostics industry trends, competitors, and regulations.
  • Fluent in English and local language; additional languages are an advantage.
