MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To develop marketing strategies and campaigns across the portfolio of Paediatric & Infant Nutrition, including annual brand plan, strategic priorities, innovation and launch planning, HCP engagement & activation, while working closely with the Sales team & cross-functional teams like Commercial Excellence & Medical.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Define and develop marketing strategies to deliver market-beating growth.
- Lead the portfolio assessment and implement brand plans flawlessly.
- Analyse effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns and monitor implementation.
- Management of the brand P & L including full budgetary responsibility for ensuring promotional campaigns within agreed spending limits.
- Influencing sales management and sales teams to ensure promotional campaigns are executed appropriately.
- Lead and co-ordinate with cross-functional brand team.
- Lead preparation of the strategic brand plan and long-range plan (LRP) in the area of product responsibility.
- Forecast demand to a high level of accuracy.
- Create and implement KOL and market development strategies.
- Assist in preparing Plan, LRP, and Update.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Leading creation and delivery of Brand campaigns.
- Lead and deliver the strategic thinking and deliver high-quality annual brand plans.
- Accountable for delivery of brand P&L- topline, bottom line, and Market Shares.
- Manage A&P budgets.
- Project management supporting business account planning with relevant material.
- Forecast accuracy and co-leading the S&OP process with sales and demand planning team.
- Detailed understanding of Abbott policies, procedures & SOPs.
- Develop brand strategies/campaigns observing all Abbott and Industry standards (i.e. ABPI Code of Practice).
BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
- Education & Skills
Educated to degree level in business/marketing. Brand Management experience preferably in Nutrition/ Healthcare. Sharp business acumen. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Stakeholder management & cross-functional collaboration. Advanced use of MS Office. - Experience
Proven track record in relevant environment. Relevant brand management or marketing experience and proven track record of success. People management experience preferred. Strong influencing skills. Healthcare/Nutrition/ FMCG Industry experience preferred.
