Overview

In this role you deliver a full range of OH duties to support regulatory compliance and workforce wellbeing. You will work across remote case management and onsite provision to meet client needs, driving Health and Wellbeing programs. You handle medicals and surveillance across rail, safety critical, and other industries, with HAVS as an advantageous qualification. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape effective occupational health services and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full range of occupational health duties including case management
  • Conduct mandatory, regulatory and general medicals (e.g., rail industry, safety critical, train drivers) and health surveillance
  • Provide health and wellbeing services within OH programs
  • Support HAVS assessment as an added advantage and carry out relevant medicals/surveillance
  • Perform audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments as part of medicals
  • Ensure adherence to chain of custody protocols for drug and alcohol testing where applicable

Key requirements

  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health
  • On Part 3 of NMC Register
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Hand Arm Vibration qualification desirable
  • Experience collecting samples for drug and alcohol testing using chain of custody protocols
  • Ability to carry out medicals / surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, skin assessment, HAVS and safety critical medicals
