The Opportunity

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is recruiting a Training & Engagement Specialist in North UK to focus on developing innovative training initiatives and programmes to adapt to evolving market dynamics and support continued business growth in Abbott’s Cardiometabolic business. This is a brand new, field-based, customer-facing role responsible for ensuring the effective use of Abbott Cardiometabolics (CM’s) product portfolio, delivering added value to customers, and driving loyalty and increased product utilisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and delivery of tailored training programmes aligned to customer needs, utilising both virtual and face-to-face formats across all market segments, including hospitals, community settings, pharmacies, and private healthcare providers.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, training, technical services, global product management, and commercial teams, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Afinion and Cholestech LDX platforms.
  • Develop innovative training initiatives and programmes to adapt to evolving market dynamics and support continued business growth.
  • Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping and activity (Sales Force), rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, training records etc.
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are met.
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
