About the Role
Abbott Nutrition is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking EMEA Content Manager to lead the development of high-impact content strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across both Consumer (Out-of-Pocket) and Reimbursed customer journeys throughout the EMEA region. In this role, you will shape and execute innovative digital and retail content that is insight-driven, locally relevant, and fully aligned with our brand and commercial priorities. You’ll work closely with regional marketing, insights, eCommerce, retail, and global partners to elevate content quality, drive engagement, and support the growth of Abbott’s consumer brands. This position is ideal for a digital-savvy content strategist who thrives in matrixed environments, understands diverse EMEA markets, and is passionate about using content to drive business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Content Strategy & Execution
- Lead content strategy and planning across Consumer (Out-of-Pocket) and Reimbursed business priorities in EMEA.
- Develop audience-centric content journeys and support localisation across markets.
- Partner with Brand, Media, CRM, Retail & eCommerce teams to deliver integrated content plans.
- Ensure content is effectively developed, approved, deployed, and optimised across key touchpoints.
- Drive content quality, governance, performance, and scalability through best-practice frameworks and agency partnerships.
- Leverage SEO, analytics, AI, and audience insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with global, regional, and market stakeholders across Marketing, Media, CRM, Retail & eCommerce, Insights, Digital, and IT to deliver integrated content strategies.
- Collaborate with market teams and agency partners to ensure effective localisation, governance, and execution across EMEA.
- Use customer, market, and performance insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and business impact.

What We’re Looking For
- Required Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in content marketing, content strategy, digital marketing, or related roles within healthcare, nutrition, FMCG, consumer health, or similarly regulated industries.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated content strategies across digital, CRM, eCommerce, retail media, and social channels.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content performance, CRM, audience insights, and digital measurement principles.
- Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional, and multi-market environments, collaborating with regional and local stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Experience with content management systems, analytics platforms, content operations processes, and AI-enabled content tools.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced certification or postgraduate qualification in digital marketing, content strategy, customer experience, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with SEO platforms, content management systems, CRM platforms, marketing analytics, and content performance measurement tools.
- Experience working with content operations, localisation processes, and AI-enabled marketing or content solutions.
