Overview
In this Clinical Specialist role, you support implantation and follow-up for DBS and SCS across NHS and private hospitals, delivering expert technical assistance. You will travel extensively to hospitals, build strong clinical relationships, and help drive regional account objectives. The position is field-based, requiring close collaboration with leadership to implement product strategies. You will shape customer education and troubleshooting workflows to ensure best-in-class patient care. Responsibilities
- Provide primary technical support during implantation and follow-up
- Perform complex device/programming troubleshooting independently
- Coordinate regional customer education training events
- Understand regional account objectives and strategy for assigned accounts
- Build strong professional relationships in hospital settings
- Support regional neuromodulation business strategy via implantation coverage in accounts
- Travel to customer sites up to 75%
- Collaborate with leadership to align customer support with company goals
Key requirements
- BSc degree in a scientific discipline
- Experience in medical devices industry or as a physiotherapist/pain nurse transitioning to industry
- Knowledge of the UK healthcare market
- Flexible with regards to working hours and travel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with clinic settings and OR procedures (preferred)
- Good keyboard and presentation skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
