Overview
Field-based role covering the South UK region, supporting Abbott's Heart Failure portfolio with a focus on Cardio MEMS.
Utilises commercial acumen to deliver market growth, technical, clinical and educational support to ensure safe adoption of Cardio MEMS.
Drives customer engagement across the territory and supports therapy and market development by engaging strategic centres and educating referring physicians about Cardio MEMS.
Builds and leverages a network of non-clinical stakeholders within hospitals and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to improve patient access to Cardio MEMS.
Develops and delivers Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.
Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts, including physicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and procurement teams.
- Provide procedure support in Cath Labs.
- Communicate Abbott's Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.
- Collaborate with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.
- Support cross-divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.
- Deliver implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintain strong referral networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent qualification.
- Comprehensive ability to analyse and evaluate technologically complex devices.
- Ability to work effectively with others and to prepare and present written and verbal communications.
- Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
- Documented track record of delivering strategic marketing information.
- Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of common PC applications (e. g., Microsoft Office).
- Professional training/education certification or designation.
- Field sales experience required; experience in a Cath Lab / Operating Theatre in a sales environment preferred.
Requirements & Travel
This position requires a considerable amount of business travel.
