Abbott’s Endovascular business is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist in the North of England (ideal candidate location between Leeds, Sheffield, and Yorkshire area), to provide case support and assist with employee and customer clinical training and sign-off.
What you’ll do:
- Drive employee and customer clinical training, creating bespoke training programmes based on customer need.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of assigned therapies and technologies, relevant clinical studies, and a general understanding of the dynamics of the relevant healthcare market.
- Support the Endovascular business’s strategy and its execution, via supporting product implementation plans and customer education.
- Support physicians during clinical procedures, providing appropriate technical support.
- Conduct product presentations and respond to technical questions raised.
- Collaborate proactively with colleagues, sharing best practice and technical insights to build expertise and add commercial value.
What you’ll need:
- BSc degree, ideally in a Scientific discipline.
- Experience in a cath lab clinical or healthcare clinical specialist role would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the UK healthcare market.
- Ideally familiarity with cath lab/operating room procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory assigned (a UK Driving licence is required for this role).
