Because of strong business growth and our commitment to high‑volume manufacturing in Witney, we seek multi‑skilled Support Engineers to join our Operations Group and support manufacturing operations across the business. The role involves preventive maintenance, equipment breakdown response, equipment performance monitoring, and providing input to maintain process yields and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance activities across manufacturing operations.
  • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and monitor equipment performance.
  • Provide valuable input to help maintain process yields and efficiencies.
  • Assist the Projects Team with implementing changes to equipment.
  • Propose and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and other departments.
  • Maintain high‑standard record keeping in accordance with stringent quality systems.
  • Work in a clean room or controlled environment, fault‑find, maintain, and continually improve bespoke automated equipment and processes.
  • Operate on a 4‑on‑4‑off Days and Nights rotating pattern or a 4‑on‑4‑off Nights schedule.

Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, including setup of precision assemblies and use of machine tools.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Completed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or a higher‑education qualification (ONC, HNC, HND, or degree) in a related subject.
  • Knowledge or experience with laser cutting & marking, micro‑fluid deposition, or vision systems is an advantage, but not essential.
