Within the UK, our business spans across two key markets:
- Reimbursed: selling directly to the NHS where our medical nutrition products are prescribed to patients via healthcare professionals.
- Direct-to-consumer: selling directly to the end user via online and in-store channels.
Abbott’s nutrition business is delighted to be offering one marketing internship position to support our Brand Managers in executing marketing strategies and tactics, which will provide the opportunity to gain experience across a number of marketing channels and working with a broad cross‑functional team.
Throughout the 13‑month placement, you will have the opportunity to work on the direct‑to‑consumer side of the business, supporting the respective brand managers across a variety of marketing initiatives including:
- Conducting competitor analysis
- Developing materials to support campaigns (concept to execution)
- Being the responsible point of contact for liaising with marketing agencies on operational matters, including running weekly meetings
- Owning cross‑functional alignment between the Brands and other teams internally
- Managing, planning and executing ad‑hoc events and meetings
- Supporting in the development of yearly Brand Plans
Adult Nutrition Portfolio:
- Ensure NutriVigor is an adult nutritional supplement shake containing a unique blend of ingredients specially formulated to support strength, energy and immunity
- Glucerna Control is a meal replacement shake that supports the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels, weight loss and weight maintenance
Paediatric Nutrition Portfolio:
- Paediasure Shake is a children’s nutritional supplement drink with 26 vitamins
