We’re looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented Wholesale Operations Executive, with experience in a wholesale, retail partner or marketplace operations role - ideally within a fast‑moving or scaling consumer brand.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll play a central role in building the operational foundation that lets Abbott Lyon onboard new retail and marketplace partners faster, trade them more reliably, and scale B2B and B2C channels without errors, chargebacks or missed peak windows holding us back.

- Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding of new wholesale, retail and marketplace partners, ensuring a seamless launch from initial setup through to first order and go‑live.
- Translate partner requirements, trading terms and supplier manuals into clear internal processes and operational workflows.
- Create and maintain onboarding documentation, SOPs and checklists to ensure consistent and efficient partner launches.
- Act as the primary operational contact for partner onboarding, coordinating cross‑functional teams and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Process wholesale and marketplace orders accurately and efficiently, from order receipt through to dispatch and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate records across orders, returns, invoicing and partner accounts, ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners, logistics providers and internal stakeholders to support smooth day‑to‑day trading operations.
- Support the implementation, testing and ongoing management of marketplace and EDI integrations, monitoring performance, resolving issues proactively and maintaining up‑to‑date technical and operational documentation to ensure reliable data flows between systems.
- Coordinate inbound fulfilment activities, ensuring compliance with partner requirements relating to packaging, labelling, ASN and routing standards.
- Track and manage partner compliance performance, investigating chargebacks, debit notes and operational issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Produce operational reporting and performance analysis, tracking key metrics, partner SLAs and onboarding progress while identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes as the business scales.
Qualifications
- You have a strong understanding of B2B order management, logistics, invoicing and returns processes.
- You have hands‑on experience processing wholesale and marketplace orders end to end, from receipt through dispatch to invoicing.
- You have experience supporting marketplace, EDI or retail partner integrations including system testing and data validation.
- You have advanced Excel skills, with hands‑on experience using ERP, order management (OMS), marketplace platforms (e.g. Mirakl), EDI tooling and ecommerce systems; Shopify experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of partner compliance requirements, including packaging, labelling, ASN and routing standards.
- Familiarity with chargebacks, debit notes and operational issue resolution.
- An understanding of major UK retail and marketplace partners is advantageous.
- You are highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using ERP, order management and ecommerce platforms; Shopify experience is a plus.
- You have a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- You are comfortable working both strategically and hands‑on in a growing, fast‑changing environment.
Our head office is based in Manchester Centre, and we operate a flexible hybrid model with core working hours. This role requires a minimum of three (3) days per week.
