The Styling & Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring Abbott Lyon's products are represented, styled and managed to the highest standard across all content creation activity. This role owns the day-to-day management of product samples, styling support and studio readiness, whilst acting as the Manchester team's product expert and key connection point to the London Brand team.
The role is responsible for ensuring products are available, organised, understood and presented correctly across campaign, social and eCommerce content. Working closely with Creative, Brand and Studio teams, the Styling & Production Assistant helps ensure content shoots run efficiently, product launches are effectively communicated and styling standards are consistently maintained. This is a hands-on role that combines product ownership, styling, coordination and production support, playing a key part in enabling the delivery of high-quality creative content.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities- Product ownership & expertise
- Own the organisation, management and availability of all product samples within the Manchester Studio.
- Act as the primary product expert for the Manchester Studio and Creative teams.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Abbott Lyon's collections, materials, product features, personalisation capabilities and product USPs.
- Maintain awareness of upcoming launches, collection updates and product changes.
- Ensure product information is accurately communicated and understood across the Studio and Creative teams.
- Act as the key point of contact for product-related queries within the Studio function.
- Build strong relationships with the London Brand and Product teams to ensure alignment across locations.
- Travel to London when required to support collaboration, product immersion and launch planning.
- Product & sample management
- Manage the day-to-day organisation, tracking and movement of all product samples.
- Maintain accurate sample inventories and storage systems.
- Coordinate product requests across Creative, Ecommerce, Brand, PR and Influencer teams.
- Pull and prepare products for campaign, social and eCommerce shoots.
- Ensure products are returned, tracked and accounted for following shoots.
- Resolve product availability issues and escalate risks where required.
- Support stock counts and regular sample audits.
- Maintain sample storage areas to ensure products are easily accessible and organised.
- Styling & Product Presentation
- Own styling support across campaign, social and eCommerce shoots.
- Prepare product selections and styling combinations in line with creative briefs and brand requirements.
- Ensure all products are styled, presented and prepared to the highest possible standard before and during shoots.
- Support photographers, videographers and creatives with on-set styling requirements.
- Build shoot rails and prepare product selections ahead of shoots.
- Ensure all products are clean, polished, steamed and camera-ready.
- Source styling assets, props and shoot materials where required.
- Maintain consistency of styling standards across all content production.
- Manage post-shoot returns of wardrobe purchases and loaned products, ensuring items are returned accurately and on time.
- Shoot Preparation & Production Support
- Support the planning and preparation of campaign, social and eCommerce shoots.
- Coordinate product and styling requirements ahead of production.
- Assist the Creative Producer with shoot preparation and logistics.
- Support on set during content shoots as required.
- Help coordinate product changes, styling adjustments and shoot support throughout production.
- Ensure all products, props and styling assets are prepared and available when needed.
- Studio management
- Take ownership of the organisation and presentation of the studio environment.
- Ensure styling areas, sample storage and production spaces remain clean, organised and operational.
- Maintain studio equipment, props and storage systems.
- Ensure products, packaging and production materials are stored correctly.
- Support health and safety standards within the studio environment.
- Administration & coordination
- Maintain product request logs, movement trackers and sample records.
- Support shoot schedules and production planning administration.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections and supplier requirements where required.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and studio records.
- Support the wider Creative team with day-to-day operational coordination.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
