Manchester (NQ Hybrid - 3 days/week in office). This is a rare, greenfield opportunity to define and build a critical new function within one of the UK's fastest-growing ecommerce brands. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Product to lead the development, optimisation, and performance of their website and future digital platforms. Step into a role with a clean slate, where you'll own the web product vision and shape the roadmap from the ground up. Your expertise will directly influence our customer engagement, lead generation, and conversion. You'll be the strategic architect and hands-on leader for a best-in-class user experience, hyper-focused on our complex products, personalisation, and seamless customer journeys. This isn't about incremental tweaks; it's about pioneering what's next in e-commerce for a founder-led business with a "let's make it happen" attitude!
What You’ll Be Driving:
- Strategic Vision & Ownership: Develop and implement the overall website strategy and own the web development roadmap, aligning with ambitious business objectives.
- User Experience Obsession: Drive continuous optimisation of UX/UI, customer journeys, and site performance, especially for our complex, personalised jewellery products.
- Team & Agency Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower a 5-person web product team (including offshore), oversee website design/dev, and manage external agencies for high-quality project delivery.
- Performance & Growth: Leverage SEO, analytics (GA4), and trading insights to drive user engagement, lead generation, and conversion, directly contributing to our ambitious revenue targets.
- Process & Innovation: Establish efficient processes, manage technical backlogs, and ensure a seamless technical experience, embracing the agility of a startup/scale-up culture.
What We Value:
- Brand-Side Product Leadership: Proven experience in a senior Product role within an eCommerce and customer-centric brand.
- Complex Product & CX Expertise: Deep understanding and passion for optimising user journeys with highly personalised or variant-rich product offerings (e.g., jewellery, gifting).
