About the Role

We’re looking for a performance-driven Junior Creative Strategist to join our Paid Social team at Abbott Lyon. This role sits within our paid social function and supports the development of high-converting creative across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube. Working under the Creative Strategist, you’ll help plan and execute creative strategies that directly drive revenue - from day-to-day BAU ad sets to major campaign and promotional moments. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for a self-starter. You won’t wait to be told what to test - you’ll actively look for opportunities. You’ll analyse customer insights and ad performance to identify gaps and bring forward new creative angles designed to scale. You’ll both ideate and execute - editing paid social assets yourself, iterating quickly, and continuously optimising based on results. Key Responsibilities

  • Performance-Driven Creative Strategy
    • Support the planning of BAU ad sets and larger campaign launches across paid social
    • Develop new, conversion-focused creative angles informed by customer insights and performance data
    • Edit and adapt video and static creative for paid social using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Suite and/or Figma
    • Rapidly iterate on winning concepts to improve key metrics and scale performance
  • Data & Reporting
    • Analyse ad performance and identify winning hooks, formats and messaging
    • Support weekly and monthly reporting on creative performance
    • Spot patterns in data and proactively suggest testing opportunities
    • Translate insights into clear creative recommendations
  • UGC & Creator Collaboration
    • Work with the influencer team to identify and secure high-quality UGC creators
    • Write detailed, brand-aligned briefs tailored to specific ad angles and objectives
    • Review creative outputs to ensure they are platform-native and conversion-focused
    • Build relationships with top-performing creators to drive repeat collaborations
  • Channel-Native Thinking
    • Develop a strong understanding of what performs natively on each platform (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube)
    • Ensure content feels organic to the feed while maintaining strong performance intent
    • Stay up to date with platform trends, formats and evolving best practices

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to edit paid social creative using CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma (essential)
  • Experience working in paid social, performance marketing, or a DTC brand
  • Comfortable analysing data and understanding metrics such as CTR, CPA, CVR and ROAS
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager (TikTok Ads Manager is a plus)
  • Experience working with UGC creators or influencers
  • Creative thinker with a commercial, performance-first mindset
  • Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented
