We’re looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to take ownership of day-to-day trading, helping us grow revenue, conversion and profitability while making it easier for customers to find and buy the right products.
Reporting to the Head of Trading & Ecommerce, you’ll turn our trading strategy into daily activity, from product launches and promotions to website testing. You’ll work closely with our Visual Merchandiser and teams across Website, CRM, Performance Marketing, Brand, Buying and Operations to keep plans aligned and respond quickly to changes in performance.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a positive attitude who’s ready to take ownership. You’ll have the space to bring your own ideas, make changes and see the impact of your work.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the day-to-day trading calendar and deliver weekly and monthly plans, identifying commercial opportunities and aligning activity with promotions, product launches and key trading moments.
- Monitor revenue, conversion, AOV, margin and customer behaviour, identifying opportunities and risks and taking action to improve performance.
- Plan and deliver trading activity for moments such as paydays, coordinating across channels and reviewing results.
- Support the Head of Trading & Ecommerce in planning and delivering larger seasonal campaigns, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Black Friday and Christmas.
- Own regular trading reporting and produce reports and insights for other teams across the business, including seasonal product performance and ad hoc requests, highlighting key results, performance drivers and recommended actions.
- Own CRO tests from idea to results: use analytics, heatmaps and session recordings to identify opportunities, build and launch A/B tests within our testing tools, and apply what you learn.
- Test ways to grow AOV and profitability, including pricing, promotions, shipping, upsells and bundles.
- Work with Website, UX and Development teams on wider site improvements, and improve trading processes and reporting.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have experience in ecommerce or online trading within a retail, D2C or consumer brand, with a track record of improving website performance.
- Experience improving conversion, AOV and revenue, with an understanding of pricing, margin and customer lifetime value.
- Confidence using GA4 and other reporting tools to turn data into commercial decisions.
- Experience managing promotional calendars, product launches and seasonal trading activity.
- CRO experience, or the technical confidence and willingness to learn how to set up and launch A/B tests yourself. You’ll be expected to execute tests as well as recommend them.
- A positive, collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of doing things and bring fresh ideas to trading and testing.
- Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurately.
- Clear communication and confidence working across teams, presenting recommendations and influencing decisions.
- Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus preferred but not essential
- Prior experience within a fashion, luxury or gifting product brand preferred
What success looks like
You’ll help the website deliver against revenue, conversion, AOV and profitability targets. Campaigns and launches will go live on time, testing will lead to measurable improvements, and your reporting will give teams clear direction on what to do next.
- Rewarding salary package
- Hybrid working model and flexible hours
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
- Free products + discounts for family and friends
- Enhanced pension scheme
- Career development and training opportunities
