Technician – Manufacturing
The role is to operate the web print line(s) and/or screens equipment for strip and/or sensor products within tight Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring on-time, high‑quality, cost‑effective production for the ADC Diabetes Care division.
Responsibilities
- Operate web print and screen build processes according to SOPs.
- Weigh, measure and verify raw materials for proper quantity and expiration compliance.
- Perform MacPac transactions including batch number generation and material movement.
- Record data accurately on machine HMI interfaces and maintain yield and process efficiency databases.
- Operate and interpret product inspection systems; perform data and documentation verification.
- Carry out independent verifications of team members’ work.
- Conduct Practices versus Procedure (P2P) reviews as directed by Process Lead/Team Manager.
- Investigate exception reports and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with ADC quality system, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in projects that enhance quality system effectiveness and product quality.
- Support the business within Screens and Web Printing Manufacturing on a 4 on 4 off shift (6pm to 6am).
Qualifications
- Secondary education or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Transferable skills in manufacturing or related areas are considered.
