Abbott's Diabetes Care business designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings, and we have recently launched a new system that will revolutionise how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Lead to join our Sensor Manufacturing team.
Developing, leading and motivating your team, you will ensure quality, yield and output deliverables, maintain and champion EHS initiatives, and drive 5s and process improvements.
On a day to day basis, you will take ownership for your area, acting as a representative at daily meetings, reporting on metrics, escalating issues, and coordinating between teams.
You will support the daily walk-around activities, interacting with quality, engineering, and other relevant support functions as required.
To be successful, you will bring experience of and be passionate about leading teams and delivering results.
You will bring exemplary communication, organisation and time management skills.
Previous experience of working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred (including experience of GLP and GMP), but consideration will be given to those with other practical based backgrounds.
You will also be educated to secondary level.
You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment within a hard-working and welcoming team.
This is a shift working role on a 4 on 4 off basis, working 7am to 7pm day shift.
