We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join our Manufacturing Execution Systems team. Throughout your placement, you will find yourself:

  • Supporting the MES function with Recipe development (developing a manufacturing digital process) and testing.
  • Supporting generation of validation test protocols and summary reports.
  • Assisting the development and implementation of continuous improvements projects.
  • Supporting MES Team Audit Readiness through identifying and remediating audit risks.
  • Collaborating as part of cross-functional project teams by providing guidance and offering solutions for the timely and cost-effective improvement projects.
  • Participating in project teams to ensure that changes to existing products and processes are made in compliance with ADC quality system requirements.

What are we looking for? You should be studying for a degree in a Computer or Electronic Engineering field, and be seeking a year in industry placement as part of your qualification. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a team and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment. You will need to have an interest in programming and database queries, with good oral and written communication skills to prepare reports and technical documents. You must be organised and flexible in your approach to work, with good attention to detail to ensure that data and analyses are accurate and meet the requirements of the project. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about STEM and keen to pursue their career in the Medical Devices sector.
