Join Abbott’s innovative Heart Failure (HF) business, where we are committed to transforming patient outcomes through cutting‑edge cardiovascular technologies. We are seeking passionate and driven commercial professionals to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of our Heart Failure portfolio and especially CardioMEMs. This role will cover the North UK region (Leeds, York, Harrogate, Birmingham, Coventry).
Responsibilities
- Drive therapy and market development by supporting strategic centres and educating referring physicians about CardioMEMS.
- Utilize a strong network of non‑clinical stakeholders within hospitals and ICBs to support patient access to the CardioMEMS.
- Develop and deliver Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market.
- Manage key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams.
- Provide procedure support in Cath Labs.
- Communicate Abbott’s Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging.
- Collaborate with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives.
- Support cross‑divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio.
- Deliver implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintain strong referral networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
- Comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work with others effectively.
- Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
- Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures.
- Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information.
- Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of commonly used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- Professional training/education certification or designation.
- Field sales experience required.
- Experience in a Cath Lab / operating theatre in a sales environment preferred.
