In this role, you will be part of the statistics management team, shaping and leading the organisationâs approach to statistics, analysis and insight generation across Clinical and R&D projects. As a Statistics and Analysis Manager, you will deliver statistics strategy and resourcing for Clinical and R&D while supporting the growth and development of the statistics organisation.
What Youâll Be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate clinical and statistical support, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance.
- Allocate and manage statistical resources across projects, balancing priorities.
- Support new product development through timely analysis, and strong experimental design.
- Ensure analyses, reports and sampling plans meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide statistical and clinical input to regulatory submissions.
- Develop, coach and supervise the statistics team, setting direction, goals and development plans.
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimally degree qualified in a technical subject (typically a statistics or maths based subject).
- Strong expertise in statistics, analysis and performance measurement, gained through leading projects or teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholderâmanagement skills, with the ability to influence decisionâmaking and clearly explain technical concepts to nonâtechnical audiences and senior leaders.
- Experience working in a regulated or operationally complex environment (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or manufacturing), along with experience using SAS or other statistical analysis software, is advantageous.
