We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. The site, and its Statistics Team, has been instrumental in the research, development and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting developments in the Libre family including FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3 and the Libre Sense system. Our statistical teams collaborate to form a network of Statistics professionals, and offer members the opportunity to share best practices, leverage insights and skill-sharing, and build personal career expertise and professional development. Key activities as a **Statistician** include:* Transfer of products and processes from Research & Development into Manufacturing to support our exciting **new product launches**.* Investigation and monitoring of manufacturing, stability and product performance data to drive **continuous improvement**.* To be a key individual supporting **development trials** utilising your statistical background to drive quality and business decisions.We will expect you to be able to successfully contribute to a small number of projects, and work with colleagues from a range of backgrounds to explain statistical concepts to them. Additionally, you’ll need to be adaptable, have a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong collaboration and team-working skills. You will have a BSc (or higher) in Statistics or Mathematics.
